A very useful volume, long out of print and never reprinted as a separate volume. Banner did produce a booklet giving the bare title details (by Mr Ralph Ford, of Hessle), but this, too, is long out of print. Minor ink markings. Many of Spurgeon’s comments are amusing, but the volume also serves its main purpose of providing valuable advice regarding the best commentaries to buy. Also provides a Complete Textual Index to his Sermons.
