Comprises two remarkable C19th stories of deliverance from false religious systems. First, Sarah Doherty, an Irish Catholic, devoted to the Pope. Not only was she converted but her priest, Father Flanagan, through her also. Second, Thirza, a Jewess, equally enmeshed in Judaism, who was instrumental in her father’s conversion, even though he had initially disowned her. Alongside this is a brief synopsis of the separate case of Leila Ada. Her full story can be read in another of the Children’s Heritage series of books (Ref. 4440).
